The Villarreal North America Selection process takes place over the course of a 3-day ID Camp in which coaches from Villarreal CF in Spain choose the best players from Villarreal’s partner academies that extend all across North America. Every December, top players from the Yellows’ partner academies in the United States and Canada are invited to Las Vegas, NV to participate in the 3-day intensive training camp. The top prospects from the are chosen to represent the official Villarreal North America Select Teams at national and international competitions throughout the following season.

For the first time ever, Villarreal CF is holding an ID Camp in North America where the best players from Villarreal’s partner academies in the United States and Canada will be chosen to represent Villarreal Academy as part of the North America Select Team. There will be six teams chosen at the second ID Camp which will be held in December 2023.
